Find your way around

ZN ERP's interface is split into four regions you will use every day: the Home / Welcome screen in the middle, the Start Menu driven by the Xn button in the top-left, the Dashboard for at-a-glance metrics, and Xn-Talk for messages. The four pages below cover each in detail.

Almost every screen in ZN ERP follows the same pattern: a title bar at the top with the screen name and menu number, a toolbar with action buttons (Save, Print, Reverse, etc.), a working area in the middle, and a status bar at the bottom. Once you learn this rhythm, every new screen feels familiar.

Common keyboard shortcuts

ZN ERP is keyboard-first by design — the people who use it all day rarely touch the mouse. The shortcuts below work from almost any screen:

Shortcut	What it does
`Alt` + `X`	Open the Start Menu (same as clicking the Xn button).
`F1`	Open contextual help for the current screen.
`F2`	Edit the highlighted row / field.
`F3`	Search within the current list.
`F5`	Refresh the current screen.
`F9`	Save the current document.
`F11`	Toggle full-screen mode (popular on POS counters).
`Ctrl` + `P`	Print the current screen / document.
`Ctrl` + `F4`	Close the current sub-window.
`Esc`	Cancel the current action / close a dialog.

Tip — The Window List entry in the Start Menu shows every sub-window currently open; click any one to bring it to the front. This is the fastest way to switch between, say, an in-progress invoice and a customer ledger.
